Inside Sales Person

We are seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our DSI team in Poestenkill, NY.

This role is ideal for a proactive, customer-focused professional who thrives on building relationships, supporting sales growth, and contributing to the success of a collaborative team.

You will play a key role in expanding DSI's customer base, identifying new opportunities, and supporting the sales team to drive revenue. This position offers hands-on experience with advanced manufacturing technology, opportunities for career growth, and the chance to work closely with marketing, technical sales, and global partners to help DSI maintain its leadership in sensing technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute inside sales prospecting by researching and contacting potential customers to introduce Gleeble solutions, supporting the Technical Sales team with qualified leads and sales presentations.
  • Maintain and update CRM records, documenting prospects, communications, and sales activities to ensure accurate pipeline management.
  • Engage with existing customers to gather feedback and identify aftermarket sales opportunities, collaborating closely with the aftermarket sales team.
  • Manage the sales process end-to-end with the sales team, keeping opportunities moving through the pipeline and identifying areas for process improvement.
  • Support the planning and execution of conferences, trade shows, webinars, and product demonstrations, including preparation and follow-up activities.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of sales experience, including prospecting using go-to-market platforms such as ZoomInfo.
  • Understanding of metallurgical concepts and the ability to communicate the Gleeble value proposition; engineering academic background preferred.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, with initiative, patience, and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and non-verbal communication skills.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to adhere to schedules and procedures.

  • Base Salary: $72,000 - $75,000

The estimated salary range allows for candidates with various levels of skills and experience to be considered, as well as provides room for growth achieved within the role over time. Any offer extended to a candidate or salary increase consideration for a current employee will be based on the individual’s unique set of knowledge, skills, education, experience, and geographic location, as well as internal equity.
