Installation Engineer - Industrial Machinery Automation (KS)

Position Overview
An international industrial machinery automation service provider is seeking an experienced Installation Engineer / Project Manager to lead the design, installation, and startup of production lines. This role combines hands‑on engineering with project management responsibilities, ensuring successful execution of complex equipment and plant projects in collaboration with external contractors and suppliers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the design and specification of toner production equipment (mechanical focus with some electrical integration)
• Develop and review engineering drawings using CAD or comparable design tools
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee equipment installation activities
• Manage commissioning and startup phases to ensure smooth operational handover
• Supervise and coordinate the work of external contractors, vendors, and equipment manufacturers
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and quality standards to achieve project goals
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, health, and environmental regulations

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a mechanical engineer
• Background in plant construction, equipment installation, or industrial project execution
• Demonstrated success managing projects with external vendors and contractors
• Working knowledge of electrical systems (e.g., control panels, wiring, sensors)
• Proficiency in CAD software for equipment and layout design
• Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills

While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift 10-25 pounds if needed. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision and hearing.
