Join Worldwide Grocery Stores in reshaping the future of grocery shopping for our customers. We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Instock Manager with a strong customer focus to manage inventory planning and project management.
The Instock Manager will oversee long-range demand and supply planning specific to Amazon Grocery Private Brands, drive analysis and optimization of inventory management systems and processes to ensure world-class inventory availability and health.
Key job responsibilities
- Demand and supply planning for Private Brands, with expansion into National Brands as the program grows. Key performance indicators include forecast accuracy and supplier fill rate.
- Manage inventory availability and inventory health through buying strategies, vendor operational improvements (fill rates, on-time, lead time), forecasting and shrink reduction.
- Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives to improve customer experience and overall cost structure of the business.
- Perform complex business analysis to identify business opportunities to improve revenue and profitability.
- Partner with internal teams to develop tools, automation, and process improvements that affect purchasing and vendor management workflows
- Deep dive Instock performance to develop insights and represent this perspective in discussions with stakeholders across the organization.
A day in the life
- Monitoring inventory health and vendor performance, generating accurate forecasts, and adjusting supply planning accordingly.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the Amazon Grocery organization, incorporating their input and adjusting priorities based on evolving business needs.

The Instock Manager will work closely with Instock Managers, Category Managers, Vendor Managers, Technology, Supply Chain, Product Management, and other Amazon Business units to improve the in-store experience.
- 1+ years of professional or military experience, or Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience
- 2+ years of with Excel experience, or Bachelor's degree
- 1+ years of professional work experience, or experience in SQL or other relational databases
- Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques
- Experience with process improvement, Kaizan, and Six Sigma, or experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
