HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
The Instructional Designer will work with various subject matter experts and plan, design, develop, and implement online learning modules, training and staff development programs/curricula, instructor-led training, and blended learning materials. The instructional designer will use strong interpersonal, written, visual, and verbal communication skills to combine text, images, video, and audio to educate LifeNet Health employees, customers, distributors, and the community as needed. The instructional designer differentiates between, selects, and effectively integrates appropriate learning strategies (i.e., hands-on activities, instructor-led training, individual training, self-study, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role play, and computer-based training) to meet training needs, self-study, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role play, and computer-based training) to meet training needs.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

Needs Analysis: Identifies and analyzes learning needs and gaps in existing content. Consults with management groups to validate training needs and to build a business case for requested training

Instructional Design: Applies learning theories and models (e.g., ADDIE) to create effective frameworks for learning. Designs, develops, implements, and assesses various learning and development solutions, including e-learning, training programs, webinars, and formative assessments. Designs, develops, and maintains training manuals, reference library, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials. Drives the development and advancement of best-in-class training programs and initiatives.

Project Management: Manages multiple projects, monitors their progress, and ensures timely delivery of learning materials. Develops effective and continuous communications with subject matter experts and departments to understand and address training. Trains department-level instructors and/or supervisory personnel in effective training delivery techniques to ensure effective transfer skills.

Technology Support: Creates instructional video/audio for various company needs using appropriate software. Utilizes and integrates various multimedia tools and technologies to create interactive and engaging learning experiences. Provides technical assistance and support for online learning modules and learning materials.

Continuous Improvement: Evaluates and assess current training content and collateral and makes necessary updates and improvements as needed.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Minimum Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree – Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or a related area

THREE (3) years’ experience in training, curriculum design, and development

THREE (3) years’ experience in training technology and digital platforms associated with learning technology implementation and support
Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:
-
Master’s degree – Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Educational Technology, or a related area

THREE (3) years’ experience in training curriculum design and development to professional level staff or for higher education
Key Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Learning Authoring Software: Proficient in Microsoft Articulate Storyline, and other instructional design software

Pedagogical Knowledge: Proficient knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theories

Communication/Presentation Skills: Excellent written and oral presentation skills

Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize appropriately

Interdependent/Teamwork: Ability to work interdependently with cross-functional teams and with all levels within organization

Social Media Application: Experience leveraging social/digital media applications as development tools.

COMPENSATION
Salary Range: $57,363 - $76,484
Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is $65,972 hourly (entry level qualifications to $87,962 hourly (experienced in this role). Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate’s knowledge and relevant experience.
