We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Instructional Designer to develop engaging, effective, and learner-centered educational content. The ideal candidate will leverage expertise in learning technology, curriculum development, and visual design to create impactful training programs and instructional materials. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts, utilizing advanced instructional design methodologies, and managing multiple projects to enhance adult education initiatives across various platforms. The Instructional Designer will play a key role in shaping learning experiences that meet organizational goals and foster continuous improvement. TELECOMMUNICATION INDUSTRY IS A MUST.
Responsibilities
In this role
- You will create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances learner retention.
- You will work with subject matter experts and identify the target audience and training needs.
- You will create a training outline and create content that matches it.
- You will use visuals throughout your eLearning modules, videos, and micro-learnings.
- You will conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts.
- You will provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.
- Chosen candidate is responsible for working directly with Project/Product Managers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and other team members to design, develop, and deliver training and development solutions using multiple delivery media, including but not limited to classroom instruction, eLearning, microlearnings, video, job aids, power point and other related methods and techniques.
Experience with:
telecommunications industry a must
- Creating and Delivering training
- Owning the development and delivery of a program, end-to-end. Inclusive of working with internal Stakeholders and SMEs to develop specific marketing and system content for an organization.
- Average virtual audience (TTL) of about 120-150
Extensive experience using Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline), Vyond, and the full Microsoft Suite
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for conducting the analysis, design, development, and evaluation of eLearning, classroom learning (live and virtual), blended learning, and informal learning.
- Plan, organize, and develop training curricula, materials, and programs to meet specific learning needs.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to learn and understand needs. Conduct needs assessments and training program design strategies to develop programs and curricula that are responsive to current business needs, multiple skill level,s and learning theory.
- Ensure that learning solutions align with organizational goals and priorities.
- Work creatively to build an engaging curriculum using a variety of methods (eLearning, classroom, assessments, etc.).
- Apply instructional design theories, standards and best practices to produce effective learning and development solutions while maximizing quality and minimizing cost.
- Develop and manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables according to approved project plans.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders to evaluate and assess the success of the delivered content.
- Analyze training trends and business needs by examining learner's satisfaction levels, proficiency testing and job performance metrics.
- Learn and apply new technologies to the design, development, and delivery of online learning, including audio, video and animation.
- Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors as required.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
