Exterro is currently seeking a highly motivated, organized and goal-oriented Instructor with a focus in eDiscovery and Data Privacy, Security, and Governance. In this role, you will deliver high quality, engaging training to customers, partners and internal teams - helping to maximize our Data Risk Management platform. You will be responsible for delivering training to end users in the subjects of Exterro’s eDiscovery and Data PSG tools to include: developing new training classes, training materials, webinars, and other material to support educational and enablement initiatives. You will act as both a technical expert and an educator, ensuring learners gain the skills and confidence to succeed with our products.

This position will report to the Director of Education and Enablement.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver live (virtual and in-person) training sessions in the subjects of Exterro’s eDiscovery and Data PSG tools to customers, partners, and employees.
  • Translate complex product functionality, data workflows, and best practices into clear, actionable learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with product managers and customer success teams to align training content with business needs and product updates.
  • Blending learning styles of students to ensure that the topics are understood by all participants.
  • Developing the content for new training classes, training materials, curricula, and other things to support the continuous changes to Exterro software.
  • Provide feedback and insights from training sessions to help continuously improve curriculum, documentation and product usability.
  • Maintain expertise in product functionality, industry best practices and adult learning methodologies.
  • Support enablement initiatives for professional services initiatives by ensuring customers are trained for successful adoption.
  • Attending events as directed, especially at Exterro hosted events such as XChange.
  • Supporting the wider Exterro organization with training and 1:1 support as needed.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a hands-on technical or similar role.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer technology, forensics, or equivalent field is preferred.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.
  • Experience delivering both virtual and classroom training sessions
  • Industry knowledge in the topics of eDiscovery and/or Data Privacy, Security, and Governance.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into practical, actionable learning experiences.
  • Strong collaboration skills; comfortable working across professional services, product and customer success teams.
  • Project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Travel may be required (up to 25%). This may include internal team and company meetings, as well as hosted client locations.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency and strive to create a fair and equitable workplace for all employees. As a remote first organization, our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The salary range for this remote position is $75,000-$95,000 per year, based on skills, experience and qualifications. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. Exterro is a total compensation company, and this role may be eligible for variable pay, equity, bonus and/or other forms of compensation as part of the package. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, flexible paid time off and more.
