The College of Communication and Media Sciences at Zayed University is seeking dynamic and innovative individuals to teach communication courses. Candidates should be able to teach core principles, writing, strategic planning, and campaign development, incorporating elements of advertising, public relations, and marketing communications across traditional and digital media. Integrated Strategic Communications is the largest concentration within the College, supported by active student chapters of the Middle East Public Relations Association (MEPRA) on both the Abu Dhabi and Dubai campuses. Prospective candidates are expected to demonstrate a proven record of teaching experience that meets international standards, along with professional expertise in relevant fields. Scholarly or creative activity in the area of specialization is also valued.

The College seeks full-time faculty at the rank of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor beginning Fall 2026. The search will remain open until positions are filled.

About the College

The College of Communication and Media Sciences is accredited by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications (ACEJMC), and the International Advertising Association accredits its Integrated Strategic Communications concentration. The College offers a comprehensive curriculum that equips students with the communication skills necessary to assume leadership roles in various industries.

• Integrated Strategic Communications
• Media Production and Storytelling
• Tourism and Cultural Communications

Qualifications

Applicants must hold an MA or PhD in Communication or a related field, with specialization in strategic communication, public relations, or advertising, from a QS-ranked university recognized or equalized by the UAE Ministry of Education.

Candidates should demonstrate:

• Excellence in teaching and scholarship.
• A record of teaching experience that meets international standards.
• Professional expertise and/or scholarly or creative activity in the relevant field.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English.
• Experience teaching in an ESL environment
