Workshop Supervisor (Interior Division)

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • To manage and oversee workshop production and support interior fit-out projects by ensuring timely delivery of high-quality joinery and interior components, while coordinating with site teams and multiple finishing trades.
  • Align workshop output with site installation sequences.
  • Attend coordination meetings to track progress and priorities.
  • Adjust production schedules based on site conditions and changes.
  • Ensure joinery integrates properly with other interior elements.
  • Identify design or constructability issues before production.
  • Coordinate with design team for clarifications and revisions.
  • Ensure high-end finishing standards (critical in interiors).
  • Coordinate delivery and installation teams.
  • Provide technical support during installation when required.
  • Ensure proper handling and fixing of joinery at site.
  • Coordinate procurement to avoid delays.
  • Control wastage and optimize material usage.
  • Supervise carpenters, polishers, installers, and helpers.
  • Allocate manpower efficiently between workshop and site needs.
  • Train team on finishing quality and installation techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Civil Engineering
  • Interior fit-out or joinery Experience in UAE or GCC
  • At least 3–5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong experience in high-end interior projects (offices, retail, hospitality, villas).
  • Knowledge of authority requirements and quality expectations
  • Experience with fast-track projects
  • Ability to read AutoCAD drawings.
  • Familiarity with materials, finishes, and hardware used in interiors.
  • Knowledge of sequencing between workshop production and site execution.
