Instrument Technician

The Instrument Technician is responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation and control systems in industrial environments. This role ensures that instruments operate safely, accurately, and efficiently to support continuous plant operations.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair instrumentation and control systems in industrial environments.
• Calibrate and test instruments to ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in instrumentation systems and resolve issues efficiently.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on instruments and equipment.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure safe and efficient system operations.
• Document all maintenance activities, calibration records, and repair work clearly and accurately.

Technical Skills & Expertise:

• Hands-on experience working with pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, and flow meters.
• Testing and maintaining alarm systems and shutdown systems (ESD).
• Configuring and calibrating control valves, actuators, MOVs, and related devices.
• Experience with PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
• Conducting loop checks, function tests, and calibration checks for field instruments and control systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in industrial plants, oil & gas, petrochemical, or manufacturing facilities.
• Strong understanding of instrument standards, safety procedures, and quality practices.

· Iqama Transfer (Transfer of Sponsorship is Mandatory)

· Currently available in Saudi arabia

· Relevant experience in construction projects

· Ability to join immediately (preferred)

· Physically fit and capable of performing site work
