Job Summary

The Instrumental Music Teacher is responsible for teaching students to play one or more musical instruments, developing their technical skills, musical understanding, and appreciation for music. The role includes individual and group instruction, performance preparation, and participation in school cultural activities.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Instruction

  • Teach instrumental music (e.g., keyboard, guitar, violin, flute, drums, or other instruments as required).
  • Provide individual and group lessons appropriate to students’ age and skill level.
  • Demonstrate proper posture, technique, rhythm, and musical expression.
  • Introduce music theory basics alongside practical instruction.

Lesson Planning & Assessment

  • Plan structured lessons aligned with the school’s music curriculum.
  • Assess student progress through practical exams, performances, and regular feedback.
  • Maintain records of attendance, progress, and performance levels.

Performance & Activities

  • Prepare students for school assemblies, concerts, competitions, and cultural programs.
  • Assist in organizing music events, recitals, and annual functions.
  • Encourage student participation in music clubs or ensembles.

Classroom & Instrument Management

  • Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment.
  • Ensure proper handling, care, and storage of musical instruments.
  • Coordinate with school management regarding instrument requirements or maintenance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
