Instrumentation & Automation Engineer (EPCC/Oil & Gas)

Location: Lahore & Global Project Sites

Experience: 5–10 years in EPCC, Oil & Gas, or Refinery/Petrochemical Projects

We are seeking a hands-on Instrumentation & Automation Engineer capable of leading projects from design through to on-site commissioning and implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in both engineering software and field execution.

Key Responsibilities:

o. Execute end-to-end project phases: conceptual design, detailed engineering, procurement support, installation, commissioning, and handover.

o. Develop and review instrumentation deliverables: datasheets, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, JB schedules, and instrument lists.

o. Design control systems, safety instrumented systems (SIS), and PLC/SCADA applications in compliance with IEC standards.

o. Perform calibration, testing, and pre-commissioning of field instruments: transmitters, control valves, shutdown valves, flow meters, and analyzers.

o. Configure and troubleshoot DCS/PLC systems (ABB, Siemens, Yokogawa, Emerson, etc.).

o. Supervise site contractors and technicians, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and schedule.

o. Prepare method statements, test procedures, and as-built documentation.

o. Ensure compliance with international standards (IEC 61511, API, ISO) and project specifications.

Required Software Skills:

AutoCAD (mandatory)

SPI (Intools) / Aveva Instrumentation

PLC/DCS configuration tools

MS Office / Engineering document management systems

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.

5–10 years of direct experience in EPCC, oil & gas, or refining projects.

Must have site implementation and commissioning experience of own designs.

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
