Instrumentation & Control Designer

Job Title : Instrumentation & Control Designer

Location : Houston , Texas, 77056 (for the first 3 months), then move to the sugar land campus (after 3 months).

Primary work hours : Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)

Pay- $60hr.

Duration : 1 year contract with possible extension for another year.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Certification in instrument control systems engineering, or related field.
• 5-10 years’ experience in designing Control Systems.
• CAD software proficiency, AutoCAD or SolidWorks, 3D Modelling with Navisworks, experience with AVEVA desirable.
• Experience with API, ANSI, IEEE, ISO, EN, ATEX, IEC, and other international codes and standards in instrumentation, control, and automation systems.
• Understand Hazardous Area certification requirements.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour

Experience:

• AutoCAD: 6 years (Preferred)
• designing Control Systems: 6 years (Preferred)
• Instrumentation & Control Designer: 6 years (Preferred)
