Job Overview

The Instrumentation Maintenance Engineer will play a vital role in ensuring the reliable operation of instrumentation and control systems at our Vadodara facility. This junior-level, full-time position is ideal for professionals with a minimum of 1 year of experience, seeking to support operational excellence within the oil and gas sector.

Qualifications And Skills

• Troubleshooting (Mandatory skill): must possess the ability to efficiently diagnose and resolve issues in instrumentation and control systems to minimize downtime.
• Instrumentation Testing (Mandatory skill): adeptness in performing comprehensive testing and validation of various field instruments is essential for this role.
• Process Control (Mandatory skill): demonstrated hands-on expertise in maintaining and optimizing process control loops in complex industrial environments.
• Preventive Maintenance: proven experience in planning and conducting regular maintenance activities to ensure longevity and reliability of instruments.
• PLC Programming: practical skills in programming, configuring, and troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers for automation applications.
• Calibration: ability to perform precise calibration of sensors, transmitters, and industrial instruments according to standard practices and protocols.
• SCADA Systems: familiarity with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems for monitoring and managing plant operations remotely and efficiently.
• Safety Procedures: strong commitment to and knowledge of safety guidelines and regulatory compliance, ensuring all tasks are carried out with utmost safety in mind.
  
  

Roles And Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks involving industrial instrumentation and control equipment.
• Conduct scheduled and predictive maintenance on instrumentation assets to reduce unexpected equipment failures.
• Implement and monitor process control strategies, ensuring plant processes operate smoothly and efficiently.
• Test, calibrate, and validate various measurement and control instruments as per standard operating procedures.
• Assist in programming, configuring, and troubleshooting PLC equipment and SCADA systems for process automation.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and policies, fostering a culture of continuous safety improvement.
• Support the continuous improvement of maintenance workflows and suggest upgrades or modifications to existing systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment calibration, and system performance for audit readiness.
