Duties
- Lead and coordinate insulation installation crews, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to project specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine insulation requirements and installation procedures
- Supervise the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as airless paint sprayers and fabricators to complete tasks accurately
- Conduct site inspections to verify proper insulation application, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Assist with construction estimating by assessing material needs, labor hours, and project timelines for insulation projects
- Oversee the handling of materials like foam boards, fiberglass batts, spray foam, stucco, masonry components, and metal studs
- Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry, roofing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, concrete finishing, framing, masonry, and construction painting to ensure seamless project execution
Skills
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing construction crews in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for various insulation applications
- Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes and the use of construction tools and equipment
- Hands-on experience with construction estimating and material procurement processes
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools specific to insulation installation and related trades
- Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and OSHA standards to maintain a secure work environment
- Familiarity with diverse construction disciplines including roofing, drywall framing (metal stud framing), stucco application, HVAC systems integration, masonry work, airless paint spraying, caulking techniques, trim carpentry, concrete finishing techniques

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
