Job Summary:

The Insurance Agent is responsible for selling insurance policies, advising clients on suitable coverage options, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The role involves prospecting, evaluating client needs, preparing quotations, processing policies, and handling renewals. Strong communication skills, product knowledge, and a customer-centric approach are essential.

Key Responsibilities:Sales & Client Acquisition

  • Identify potential clients through networking, referrals, cold calls, and market research.
  • Present, promote, and sell insurance products such as motor, health, life, and property insurance.
  • Generate leads and follow up with interested customers to close sales.
  • Conduct needs analysis to recommend suitable insurance products and coverage.

Customer Service & Support

  • Assist clients in understanding policy terms, conditions, and coverage benefits.
  • Respond to client inquiries and provide accurate information promptly.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage renewals and referrals.
  • Provide after-sales support including policy updates, endorsements, and documentation.

Policy Processing & Documentation

  • Prepare and send quotations to customers as per their requirements.
  • Collect and verify necessary documents for policy issuance.
  • Coordinate with underwriters for policy approval and special requests.
  • Ensure timely processing of new policies, renewals, cancellations, and amendments.

Claims Assistance

  • Guide customers through the claims process and assist with documentation.
  • Liaise with the claims department to ensure proper follow-up and claim status updates.
  • Educate customers on claim procedures and required evidence.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure all sales processes comply with company policies and insurance regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales, and policy details.
  • Prepare daily/weekly sales reports for management review.
  • Stay updated on insurance products, market trends, and competitor offerings.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as an Insurance Agent or Sales Executive.
  • Strong knowledge of motor, health, life, and general insurance products.
  • Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
  • Valid UAE driving license (an advantage).
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets.
