Duties

• Conduct outside sales activities to identify potential clients and promote insurance products
• Engage with customers via telemarketing, marketing campaigns, and community outreach
• Negotiate policy terms and premiums to meet client needs while ensuring company profitability
• Provide comprehensive insurance consultations, explaining coverage options and benefits
• Manage sales administration tasks including documentation, policy issuance, and follow-up
• Assist clients with benefits administration and answer questions related to policy details
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance products, industry regulations, including HIPAA compliance where applicable
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering client relationships
• Analyze client data to recommend suitable insurance plans and coverage levels

Requirements

• Proven experience in insurance sales, retail sales, or telemarketing preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and persuasively
• Negotiation skills to customize policies that align with client needs and expectations
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse populations effectively
• Familiarity with sales administration tools and analysis skills for tracking performance metrics
• Knowledge of marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones
• Customer service orientation with a professional demeanor and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently in outside sales environments while maintaining compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA if applicable
• Valid licensing as required by state regulations for insurance agents

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
