Insurance Claims Executive / Senior Executive

Responsibilities

• Manage and process insurance claims related to shipments (loss, damage, delays, etc.)
• Coordinate with insurance agencies, surveyors, and internal logistics teams
• Ensure timely claim filing and documentation accuracy
• Maintain communication with insurers for claim status follow-up
• Prepare periodic reports on claim closures
• Verify policy coverage and ensure compliance with company guidelines
• Support internal departments on insurance-related queries

Requirements

• Experience: 2–6 years in general insurance, preferably claims handling
• Certification in Insurance (mandatory requirement)
• Strong knowledge of claim processes, documentation & coordination with agencies
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment
