Medical Billing A.R Specialist (Night)

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist with at least 6 months of experience in the US-based healthcare system. As part of our revenue cycle team, you will be responsible for managing claims follow-up, payment posting, denial analysis, and resolution—ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement from payers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work AR follow-up for insurance claims (Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid)
• Identify and resolve denied or underpaid claims
• Perform payer calling to determine claim status and resolve issues
• Process appeals and re-submissions as needed
• Post payments and adjustments accurately
• Document actions taken in billing system
• Meet daily and weekly productivity targets

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of experience in AR or RCM processes within the US healthcare system
• Strong understanding of insurance guidelines, EOBs, and denial management
• Experience with billing software
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Comfortable working night shifts (aligned with US time zone)
• High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in multi-specialty medical billing
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance
• Prior experience with US-based clients or BPO settings
