Confirm patient eligibility with insurance companies.
Validate policy coverage, limitations, exclusions, co-payments, deductibles and referral requirements.
Maintain updated knowledge of insurance policy changes and communicate to the relevant departments.
Process and obtain pre-approvals for all services requiring insurance authorization.
Ensure correct documentation (medical reports, prescriptions, consultant notes, lab results, etc) is attached before submission.
Prepare, complete and submit insurance claims within the required timelines.
Maintain strict record keeping for all claims for reporting purposes.
Coordinate with Finance department to address discrepancies underpayments or denials.
Multi tasking.
