Full job description

Job Purpose:

To manage and coordinate all insurance-related activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of patient claims, adherence to DHA and insurance regulations, and smooth communication between the clinic, patients, and insurance providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Insurance Coordination & Approvals
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility prior to services.
  • Obtain pre-authorization and approvals for treatments and procedures.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with DHA and insurance requirements.
  • Claims Management
  • Prepare, review, and submit insurance claims accurately and on time.
  • Follow up on pending, rejected, or underpaid claims.
  • Maintain proper documentation and claim tracking records.
  • Billing & Reconciliation
  • Coordinate with the accounts department to reconcile insurance payments.
  • Verify invoices against approved claims and received payments.
  • Ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
  • Compliance & DHA Policy Knowledge
  • Ensure compliance with DHA standards, policies, and insurance regulations.
  • Stay updated with any changes in DHA or insurance company policies.
  • Support the clinic in DHA audits or inspections related to insurance processes.
  • Patient Support & Communication
  • Educate patients about their insurance benefits and coverage.
  • Handle insurance-related queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Coordinate between doctors, patients, and insurance companies as needed.
  • Reporting & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of all claims, rejections, and payments.
  • Prepare regular reports on claim status, collection trends, and insurance performance.
  • Assist management in optimizing the revenue cycle process
  • Clinic Admin
  • Manage day to day operations.
  • Billing, Registration.
  • Selling Health pacakges, DHA work, DHA Inspection internally with Medical Director.
  • DSC Reporting, Dialy revenue reports, Inventory Management, HR Management
  • Maintain Staff file, Schedule interviews as per the requirmeents, Facility and Service Management
  • Manage day to day requirements in the clinic
  • Keeping the records of PPM, and regulatrory requirements
  • Staff Management, Making the letters for the management.
  • Daily revenue report, Monthly Reports
  • Opening and closing of the sales and stocks
  • Payroll and Attendance managment along with accountant

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an Insurance Coordinator in a healthcare facility (UAE preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of DHA policies, eClaimLink, and insurance claim processes.
  • Familiar with healthcare insurance portals and claim submission software.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Arabic knowledge is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
