Insurance Services Representative

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized full-time Administrative Assistant to join our fast-paced insurance office. In this role, you will handle essential clerical tasks to support an agent and his clients. As a primary point of contact, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring smooth operations and providing exceptional service to our policyholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calendar Management: Proactively organize and schedule appointments for insurance agents as needed. Manage customer policy activities to ensure activities are completed in a timely manner.
  • Client Relations: Answer incoming calls, greet walk-in clients, and assist with general customer service requests.
  • Account Support: Help customers with all billing aspects, including answering questions and processing payments.
  • Documentation: Provide clients, and financial institutions with necessary proof of insurance.
  • Sales Support: Set up client reviews and assist agents with cross-selling opportunities.
  • Financial Tasks: Collect membership and insurance payments that are due.
  • General Support: Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned by the agent.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy in handling documentation and payments.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Strong ability to interact professionally and helpfully with clients.
  • Time Management: Proven ability to prioritize work and manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Self-Starter: A motivated individual who can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Comfortable with email, text, and direct messaging applications.
  • Professionalism: High degree of integrity and professional conduct.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred: A current P & C insurance license is a plus but not required. (Must be willing to pass the licensing exam immediately) Previous insurance office experience is a plus.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
