With 11 offices throughout the five boroughs, Long Island and Upstate New York, our firm serves clients in need legal representation for Worker’s Compensation, Social Security Disability, Civil Service Disability Pensions, and Personal Injury claims.

We are currently seeking an Intake Analyst to join our highly productive Municipal Pension/Social Security practice. Intake Analyst play a key role throughout our organization as they are the first point of contact for review of viable claims and must know how to collect and analyze data to determine if further action is required. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, have a high standard of ethics and strong communication skills.

Duties / Responsibilities:

· Conduct detailed interviews to gather client employment, injury, and benefits information

· Initiate phone calls in response to electronic inquiries for new cases received through our Intake Screening Portal

  • Screening and collecting information in order to determine viability of claims for Worker’s Compensation, Municipal Pension and Social Security Disability claims
  • Ensure eligibility requirements are met according to rules and regulations governing Worker’s Compensation, Municipal Pension and Social Security claims.

Required Skills and Abilities:

· Upbeat, outgoing with positive can-do attitude, who not only enjoys speaking on the telephone, but excels at it.

· Sales experience

· A passion for helping others

· Strong work ethic

· Responsible and reliable

· Excellent multitasking abilities

· Detailed oriented nature to meet the demands of our fast-paced environment

· Communicate effectively and respond with empathy to claimants who are dealing with difficult circumstances

· Fluent in Spanish is a plus

· Proficient typing skills

· Computer skills and a knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel programs.
