The State Bar of Arizona is a non-profit organization that operates under the supervision of the Arizona Supreme Court. The Bar regulates approximately 19,000 active attorneys in Arizona and provides education and development programs for the legal profession and the public. RESPONSIBILITIES
Under minimal supervision, performs investigative duties set forth pursuant to Supreme Court Rules as well as other duties assigned. Acts as resource for public and Bar members for inquiries regarding attorney discipline system and related programs. Performs dispute resolution functions as appropriate.

Education and/or Experience Required
J.D required. Have a minimum of five (5) years successful practical legal experience; solo practitioner or small law firm experience preferred. Active member in good standing of the State Bar of Arizona.

Computer Skills
Microsoft windows environment with Office Suite to include formatting and production of word processing documents, spreadsheets, and reports. Ability use tools for video conferencing, as needed. Ability to become proficient in Case Management database application.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Required: Position may require travel within metropolitan area; thus, reliable transportation is required. If using personal vehicle, must have appropriate driver’s license and insurance coverage.
Member in good standing with the SBA.
Preferred: Mediator Certification

Regular attendance is required. Additional hours including weekends may be required on a regular basis to fulfill duties of position. At times, individual must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to handle and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate.

Work environment is subject to interruptions, varying and unpredictable situations and time pressures related to multiple tasks. It also requires regular use of computer keyboard and monitor. There is extensive repetitive motion in using hands/wrists.

Pay: $108,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
