Intake Case Manager (VA Department)

Hiller Comerford Injury & Disability Law seeks an Intake Case Manager (VA Department) to conduct the initial review of client or potential client’s records to identify possible claim strategies based on VA regulations. The candidate must possess excellent phone skills, writing skills, computer skills, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced deadline oriented environment. The candidate must also be reliable and organized as well as have the ability to handle confidential information.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Conduct a full VA review which includes a Case Review and Strategy Development.

2. Identifies potential VA claims and drafts the initial case plan

3. Establishes potential opportunities for claims

4. Develops additional evidence required for the case

5. Conducts a case review after which the Intake Case Manager prepares the initial consultation and reviews it with the client

6. Gathers additional information and details about the client’s service history and medical conditions

7. Shares potential claim options based on VA regulations with the client

8. Documents client responses in the Case Management software

9. Informs the client of additional evidence required for the claim and records this information in CMS

10. Handles miscellaneous duties as assigned by their supervisor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
