- Education: BSc degree in Computer Science or Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent.
- 6+ years of experience in Telecommunication Industry in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience as an Integration Engineer in installation, operation, integration, support.
- Domain Experience: IMS Core Networks and Circuit Switching (CS) Core Network domains.
- Knowledge of mobile network architecture, particularly in deploying and integrating IMS network functions
- Knowledge of Ericsson IMS Products including vSBC, vCSCF, vMTAS, vMRF, vAFG and vUPG.
- Knowledge of Ericsson MSS Products including MSC-S and M-MGW.
- Good understanding of interfacing systems and domains (e.g. UDM).
- Very good knowledge of IMS architecture, IMS signalling, interfaces and protocols (SIP, SIP-I, DIAMETER).
- Understanding of VoLTE, VoWiFi and VoNR end-to-end solutions
- Ericsson portfolio knowledge.
- Fundamental understanding of Cloud Infrastructure and Cloud Native principles.
- Knowledge of IMS products security and Security Reliability Model (SRM) fundamentals.

About this opportunity
We are now looking for an Integration Engineer as a part of Service Line Core Networks organization in Market Area Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) to play an integral role in the CSI project delivery of CS Core and IMS domain products within Ericsson’s Communication Services portfolio. This job involves analyzing, preparing, implementing, executing test cases, and verifying the configuration and integration of IMS nodes, networks, and systems. In this position as Integration Engineer, you will be focusing on deployment, integration and introduction of new nodes/networks/systems, upgrades, expansions (functionality and capacity), new features implementation, migrations, and providing consulting support for device network testing on Ericsson Cloud IMS Core products for both internal and external customers. The role may also require onsite presence for integration and testing at customer premises across various industries, including telecommunications.
You will be working hands-on Cloud IMS products and solutions such as VoLTE end-to-end solution, Voice over WiFi (VoWiFi), Voice over New Radio (VoNR) and IMS signaling scenarios which typically needs to be integrated with products from other telecom domains to facilitate actual phone calls and data traffic. You will be a part of a very diverse team with members on multiple sites working across time zones.
What you will do
- Participate in customer projects, including project definition, project management tasks, verification of implemented solutions.
- Participate in solution design and UR definition activities, requirement gathering and collaborate with Solutions Architects during design phase to identify integration needs.
- Coordinate integration projects, collaborating closely with Solution Architects, network engineers, stakeholders from other domains, Customer Project Managers and customers to achieve successful integration.
- Define, prepare, implement, validate, and document system configurations to ensure optimal performance and compatibility of the solution delivered.
- Prepare, verify, and document scripts to ensure accuracy prior to execution, supporting customer needs.
- Prepare write technical documents (Method of procedure, High-Level documents, Migration study, and testing documentation).
- Plan the implementation of the CS Core and IMS products configuration, migration, and integration work.
- Install and integrate SW components according to customer solution requirements.
- Configure and integrate nodes and solutions into networks (new and existing)
- Prepare and develop system test, module test, and acceptance test.
- Execute test cases to achieve accuracy, resolving issues as needed.
- Troubleshoot integration issues during project rollouts, installation, configuration, integration, and testing for resolution and create tickets towards product development units.
- Offer support and guidance to customer support teams during post-production project activities.
- Identify and implement automation/improvements to continually enhance integration processes and perform system upgrades and expansions as necessary.
- Help create effective solutions through activities in network design, planning and deployment.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in the deliveries by identify and driving improvements.
- Maintain a stable environment by maximizing quality of deliverables and ensuring first time right implementation of activities on customer networks.
- Active participation in coaching and mentoring during knowledge sharing to other team members.
