Integrity and Compliance Manager

Main duties

  • Participate in the deployment, enhancement, and effective operation of the Integrity & Compliance (I&C) Program in Egypt, ensuring alignment with global frameworks, regional priorities, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and coordinate compliance reviews and risk assessments, ensuring internal controls are properly designed, implemented, and consistently followed. Provide clear recommendations to management where improvements are needed.
  • Provide guidance to business units and functional teams on compliance matters, including oversight of third‑party due diligence, review of HCP/HCO engagements, and support for data privacy requirements.
  • Oversee the localization, communication, and implementation of compliance policies and procedures, ensuring they reflect current legal and regulatory standards. Serve as a reliable point of contact for compliant business practices.
  • Manage periodic compliance monitoring and reporting activities, helping identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities, and contribute to reports prepared for the Compliance Committee.
  • Oversee the speak‑up process, including intake, preliminary assessment, and follow‑up of reported concerns to ensure proper documentation and action.
  • Plan and deliver compliance training programs tailored to business needs, promoting awareness of ethical standards and strengthening the organization’s compliance culture.
  • Work closely with regional and global compliance teams to support ongoing program improvements and share best practices.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (preferred), Business, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced degree or recognized compliance certification (e.g., CCEP, ETHICS, IFCA) strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Compliance and/or Legal, including at least 4–5 years in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with demonstrable experience in managing compliance programs.
  • Proven track record in leading compliance monitoring, conducting investigations, and driving remediation activities. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and risk‑assessment capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant digital tools. Fluency in English with strong communication and influencing skills. Ability to travel regionally and internationally for meetings, audits, and trainings.
