The International Cricket Council ('ICC') is the global governing body for the sport, which administers all aspects of international cricket.


We are looking for an Intelligence Officer to be based at our headquarters in Dubai, UAE. The role will report to the Manager . This role is responsible to provide direct support to the Intelligence Hub and Investigation team and contribute to the effective daily operation of the ICC Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) and wider ICC Integrity Unit.


Principal Accountabilities


Responsibilities of the Intelligence Officer includes but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintain and develop the global database held by ICC ACU, ensuring the quality of material input to, and held on, the database meets required and legally acceptable standards;
  • Research, collate and disseminate information and intelligence as required.
  • Shares information appropriately and in accordance with legislation and ACU SOPs and ensure the database’s interoperability and security with member countries and ICC ACU staff
  • Provides a prompt and timely response to requests for information and assistance.
  • Provides support to Intelligence and Investigation staff and as required, prepares various Intelligence analysis and product, including Person Profiles, Intelligence Reports, Intelligence Briefs and i2 charts.
  • Assist with provision of information and statistics required for various reports and functions of the team.
  • Maintains an understanding of the Intelligence model. Develops and maintains knowledge of ACU information management policies and their responsibilities for compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of the current intelligence priorities, objectives and strategies and of the unit.
  • Contributes in a positive manner to the setting of goals/standards for the ACU and wider Integrity Unit
  • Shows initiative when faced with new or unfamiliar tasks and persistence when faced with difficult or time-consuming tasks.


Knowledge, Skills, Attitude and Experience

  • Unquestionable Integrity.
  • Previous experience (1-2 years) in an Intelligence or data entry support role required, preferably law enforcement or similar (e.g. integrity/investigation/intelligence/regulatory/compliance field).
  • Experience in database entry and maintenance, and the requirements of data protection – CLUE preferred but training will be provided.
  • Experience conducting internet-based research and preliminary analysis.
  • Experience writing clear, succinct and useful documents.
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Office required, specifically Word, Excel & Outlook).
  • Minimum 2 years of Diploma / University Degree preferable.
  • Fluent in English – Oral/Written.
