Job Title: Interdepartmental Support Assistant

Department: Operations (Cross-Functional)
Reports To: Operations Manager / General Manager

Summary:
The Interdepartmental Support Assistant provides hands-on support to multiple departments within the company, ensuring smooth coordination and communication across daily operations.

The Interdepartmental Support Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of clerical tasks, managing communications, ensuring company procedures are followed, learning other job duties, providing customer service, and supporting administrative operations to meet deadlines. Day-to-day tasks include answering and directing phone calls, managing schedules, maintaining records and files, assisting with project coordination, supporting payroll, auditing employees' records for payroll purposes, understanding our software system, traveling between our two headquarters, and, receiving training in other departments of our company. This role assists primarily in human resources and administrative support while also learning key processes in production, operations, and logistic areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the main department with daily tasks, data entry, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional projects.
  • Participate in training and job-shadowing opportunities to learn different aspects of company operations.
  • Help identify process improvements and support communication between teams.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and follow company policies.
  • Support Human Resources and Payroll at both of our facilities.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English)
  • Willingness to learn multiple aspects of the business.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced, team-oriented environments.

Job Type: Temporary – with option to convert to full time

Base Pay Range: $20.00-$22.00 (Depending On Experience)
