Overview

The Integration Developer designs, develops, and maintains software solutions that enable seamless communication and data exchange between multiple systems and applications. They create APIs, middleware, and custom connectors to ensure interoperability, streamline workflows, and support business processes. The developer collaborates closely with software engineers, business analysts, and IT teams to deliver robust integration solutions.

Responsibilities

Beyond development, the Integration Developer troubleshoots integration issues, conducts system testing, and documents integration architectures and processes. Strong programming skills, problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of integration platforms and protocols are essential to build scalable and efficient integration frameworks.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3-6+ years in integration development or middleware roles - experience with enterprise tools preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with integration tools and platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Apache Camel, or IBM App Connect.
• Proficiency in REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and data transformation technologies (e.g. DataWeave, XSLT).
• Solid programming capability in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and databases-both SQL and NoSQL.
• Familiarity with cloud integration patterns (AWS Lambda, Azure Logic Apps, API Gateways) is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of logging, error handling, CI/CD pipelines, and performance monitoring.
