Interior design assistant

Join our dynamic interior design team as an Interior Design Assistant, where your creativity and technical skills will help bring innovative spaces to life! In this role, you will support senior designers in developing inspiring interior concepts, creating detailed drawings, and managing project workflows. Your enthusiasm for design, combined with your technical proficiency, will contribute to transforming clients’ visions into stunning realities. Responsibilities

• Assist in developing interior design concepts by creating mood boards, color palettes, and layout plans using software such as SketchUp, Revit, and AutoCAD, (preferable)
• Prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, and lighting layouts with CAD tools like Rhino 3D and Bluebeam( preferable but not necessary)
• Support project management tasks by coordinating schedules, tracking budgets, and preparing contracts and proposals
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors to select materials, finishes, lighting fixtures, and furnishings that align with design intent
• Contribute to lighting design and sales efforts by preparing visual presentations using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite
• Assist on site visits for renovation and remodeling projects to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently
• Assist in creating compelling presentations for clients that showcase design ideas through 3D renderings and visualizations, (preferable but not necessary)

Requirements

• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Sketchup
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, remodeling techniques, lighting sales, and budgeting practices
• Familiarity with project management tools and techniques to coordinate multiple tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, contractors, and team members
• Knowledge of contracts related to interior design projects and renovation work is a plus
• Passion for interior design innovation with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in lighting design and construction processes
