Interior Design Intern

Overview
Embark on an exciting journey as an Interior Design Intern, where you will gain hands-on experience in transforming spaces and bringing creative visions to life. Duties

• Create mood boards and presentation slides
• Gather inspiration images, materials, and finishes
• Help select colors, fabrics, furniture, and lighting
• Assist with design sketches or digital concepts
• Update design documents and specifications
• Create or edit floor plans and layouts
• Create social media content
• Find furniture, fixtures, and materials
• Compare prices and specifications
• Look up building codes or product standards
• Order samples (fabrics, tiles, finishes) and organize sample library
• Attend site visits, project walkthroughs and measuring spaces
• Help with furniture installations and styling

Skills

• Knowledge of interior design principles, including space planning, lighting design, color theory, and material selection.
• Experience with renovation projects, remodeling procedures, and construction site coordination.
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly through sketches, renderings, presentations, and written reports.
• The biggest thing is having a passion for interior design with a keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude toward learning new skills.
