Structure Interior Design Studio is a growing, creative design firm located in the heart of Ybor City in Tampa, Florida. Our studio focuses on designing thoughtful, functional, and inspiring environments that enhance the way people live, work, and feel.

Our work is primarily 70% residential and 30% commercial, with a strong focus on wellness and healthcare environments. We believe design has the power to positively impact people’s lives, and we take pride in delivering spaces that combine creativity, purpose, and exceptional attention to detail.

We are currently seeking an Interior Design Intern who is motivated, curious, and eager to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced, collaborative design studio. This internship may be part-time or full-time depending on the candidate’s availability, with flexibility around school schedules. For the right candidate, there may also be future opportunities for employment.

Responsibilities

The Interior Design Intern will support the team throughout different phases of the design process, including:

• Assisting with material sourcing, finishes, and furniture selections
• Preparing mood boards, concept boards, and client presentations
• Supporting AutoCAD drawings, SketchUp models, and design documentation
• Coordinating vendor communications and ordering samples
• Assisting with project installations and site visits
• Helping organize and maintain the studio sample library
• Supporting the design team with general studio tasks and project coordination

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• Strong interest in residential, commercial, and wellness-focused design
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Schedule

Flexible 10–20+ hours per week, depending on your school schedule and availability. Full-time positions available, with benefits offered to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.

Location

Tampa, Florida – In-person preferred at our Ybor City studio.
