Duties
- Assist senior designers with drafting and creating detailed plans using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Rhinoceros 3D software.
- Support project management tasks by preparing schedules, tracking budgets, and coordinating with vendors and contractors.
- Contribute to the development of interior concepts by applying color theory and interior design principles.
- Help prepare presentation materials using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite to showcase design ideas.
- Participate in site visits for renovation and remodeling projects, conducting measurements and visual inspections.
- Collaborate on lighting sales strategies by assisting with lighting design proposals and specifications.
- Assist in drafting contracts, scope of work documents, and other project documentation to ensure clarity and compliance.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an interior design, architecture, or related program.
- Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D, Bluebeam, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of drafting techniques, CAD standards, and construction documentation.
- Knowledge of interior design concepts including color theory, lighting design, and remodeling processes.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and vendors.
- Window treatment assessments , reports , removal , install and assist in new selections .
- Social Media assist in documenting projects throughout process . Helping to capture the day to day content.
- Must be willing to travel to the mountains for periods of time for projects. April - November
- A proactive attitude with enthusiasm for learning about contracts, budgeting, renovation, and sales strategies related to interior spaces. This paid internship is designed to empower you with real-world experience while supporting your professional growth in interior design!
