Interior Design Intern - Summer

Part-time Intern for Interior Design Firm

Boutique residential interior design firm seeks a part-time intern starting in May.

Responsibilities include:

• We deliver happiness, so bring your happy into work!
• Materials Library assistance - maintain organization in office resource library, process sample requests/returns, ship out samples as needed
• Prepare care and maintenance manuals for client furniture
• Assist design team with sourcing as needed
• Input product details into our software system for our design projects
• Assist with on-brand digital marketing and social media, creating reels and stories, engaging on social media in an on-brand way, and uploading projects to website, Houzz, and Pinterest

Requirements:

• Strong professional communication and organizational skills
• Highly motivated with a positive attitude
• A passion for interior design
• Proficiency with social media marketing is a plus
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and Excel or Google Sheets is a plus
• Must be available for 8 hours/week minimum. Hours can be somewhat flexible. Must be able to dependably commute to office – location: Westfield, NJ
