Interior Design Intern

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate Interior Design Intern to join our design team this summer! This internship offers an opportunity to gain experience in the interior design industry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for interior design, a keen eye for aesthetics, and space planning. This role is perfect for student designers eager to expand their portfolio and deepen their understanding of luxury residential design.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing presentation materials using software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Photoshop
• Contribute to furniture selection, and material selections
• Manage interior design library and vendor presentation schedule
• Gain exposure to project tasks such as scheduling, and coordinating with vendors

Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, and SketchUp
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop for presentation development
• Understanding of interior design fundamentals including color theory, lighting design, and space planning
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients
• Demonstrated interest or experience in lighting sales or lighting design projects is a plus
