Job Description

We are seeking a creative and experienced Interior Designer to join our team, specializing in designing vibrant and functional spaces for restaurants and café lounges. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, with a focus on hospitality design, and a passion for crafting unique, customer-centric environments. This role involves working on projects from concept to completion, collaborating with clients, architects, and contractors to deliver exceptional design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present innovative design concepts for restaurants and café lounges, focusing on ambiance, functionality, and brand identity.
• Create detailed floor plans, 3D renderings, and material specifications using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit).
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs align with client visions, budgets, and timelines.
• Select and source furniture, fixtures, lighting, and materials that enhance the dining and lounge experience.
• Oversee project implementation, ensuring designs are executed accurately during construction.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building codes specific to hospitality environments.
• Stay updated on hospitality design trends, materials, and innovations to create inviting and memorable spaces.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their brand and operational needs, delivering tailored design solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of [3-5] years of professional experience in interior design, with a focus on commercial construction for restaurants and café lounges.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, particularly in hospitality settings.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative vision with a keen eye for detail, color, lighting, and spatial flow to enhance guest experiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to engage with clients and project stakeholders.
• Availability to work Monday to Saturday, 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing for high-traffic hospitality environments, such as restaurants or café lounges.
• Portfolio showcasing successful restaurant or café lounge projects with a focus on ambiance and functionality.
• Knowledge of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) procurement and installation for hospitality settings.
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices and LEED certification for eco-friendly hospitality spaces.
