Interior Designer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Interior Designer / Assistant to support our design projects and business operations. This role combines creative design work with administrative and client-facing responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and able to balance design tasks with general office and personal assistant duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Support
• Assist with sourcing, ordering, and tracking furniture, finishes, and materials.
• Prepare design boards, proposals, and presentations using digital tools (Houzz, Canva, Excel, etc.).
• Maintain project files, floor plans, and specifications.
• Administrative & Office Tasks
• Perform clerical duties including data entry, document organization, and scheduling.
• Run errands such as material pick-ups, sample drop-offs, and vendor visits.
• Manage office supplies, project binders, and filing systems.
• Client Communication
• Draft and send professional emails on behalf of the team.
• Answer phone calls and coordinate appointments with clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Provide timely updates to clients about project progress and deliveries.
• Executive Assistance
• Act as a personal assistant to the lead designer / business owner.
• Support with calendar management, travel coordination, and meeting preparation.
• Handle confidential information with discretion.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, and design software (preferred but not required).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for errands.
