Interior Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer and project coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a strong understanding of residential spaces. This role requires proficiency in various design software and tools, as well as excellent project management skills. The Interior Designer will work closely with clients to create functional and aesthetically pleasing environments that meet their needs and preferences.

Duties

• Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences, requirements, and budget.
• Develop detailed design concepts using software such as SketchUp, 2020, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Create floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings to visualize design ideas.
• Manage multiple projects from concept through completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
• Conduct site visits to assess spaces and gather information for design proposals.
• Prepare presentations for clients that effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals involved in the renovation or construction process.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative solutions.
• Utilize knowledge of color theory, lighting design, and drafting techniques to enhance interior spaces.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in design software including SketchUp, 2020, Revit, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of construction processes, contracts, budgeting, and renovation techniques
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly to clients and stakeholders.
• A keen eye for detail with a strong sense of aesthetics in interior design.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
