April Hickman Design is an Interior Design Firm located in Santa Clara, UT that delivers impeccable client experience and sought after design. We are looking for a creative, highly-motivated team player who is passionate about design and enjoys the day-to-day responsibilities of large-scale design projects. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively to bring exciting projects to completion with creativity, thoroughness and organization. Someone with a love of design and style, as well as up to date knowledge of what is happening in the design world. We are looking to hire someone who is looking for a long term career with us in Southern Utah, not just experience alone. Applicants must communicate well and be comfortable with a fast-paced and growing team.

The pay will vary depending on factors such as; individual qualifications, education, experience, skills, job-related knowledge and ability to execute our design aesthetic.

Some responsibilities of this position include:

• AutoCAD and SketchUP or some rendering proficiency is required
• 2+ years of experience at a design firm is preferred
• Work on all phases of the design project through installment.
• Source furniture, hard surface materials, fabrics, hardware etc.
• Create inspiration and present it to team and clients.
• Know how to go into a home, measure accurately, take photos.
• Project manager proficiency is required.
• Pay attention to detail, keep track of project to do lists.
• Have an overall sense of what is going on in the office and what needs to be accomplished.
• Have exceptional organizational skills.
• Being a self starter is crucial.
• You must be friendly, honest and accountable.
