Interior Designer — Teaselwood Design (Ludlow, Vermont).

Dreaming of a life where great design meets mountain living?

Teaselwood Design is a full-service interior design studio based in Ludlow, Vermont — surrounded by the mountains we love and inspired by the beauty of everyday life here.

We’re looking for an Interior Designer to join our growing team — someone who’s passionate about creating meaningful, beautiful spaces and who’s excited to live and work where others come to ski, hike and play in the Mountains.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our Principal Designer, helping to bring creative concepts to life from the first idea to final installation. You’ll be part of a supportive, design-focused team where every day is different — site visits, client meetings, sourcing sessions, and maybe the occasional powder day.

If you’re ready to take your design career to the next level in a place that values creativity and quality of life, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Principal Designer in developing and executing design concepts
  • Create presentations, drawings, and design documentation
  • Source furnishings, materials, and finishes
  • Prepare proposals, track budgets, and assist with procurement
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors
  • Participate in installations and on-site project coordination
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and the design team

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in residential or boutique hospitality design
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Design Manager a plus
  • Strong eye for detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • A love of mountain living — skiing, snow days, and all the beauty Vermont offers

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Paid time off
  • Flexible hours and hybrid schedule options
  • Room to grow within an expanding, design-focused studio
  • Powder day bonus — because some days, the mountain just calls
