Interior Designer

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer with strong expertise in AutoCAD, detailed drawings, and commercial interior projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for concept development, space planning, design detailing, and coordination with clients, vendors, and project teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities1. Design & Concept Development

• Develop creative design concepts for commercial interior spaces such as corporate offices, retail, showrooms, hospitality, etc.
• Prepare mood boards, material boards, and presentation drawings.
• Conduct site visits to understand client requirements and project constraints.

2. Drafting & Detailing

• Prepare and modify detailed AutoCAD drawings, including:
• Layout plans
• Furniture layouts
• Reflected ceiling plans (RCP)
• Electrical and plumbing layouts
• Interior elevations & sections
• Joinery / carpentry detailed drawings
• Ensure all drawings follow industry standards and company guidelines.

3. Project Coordination

• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, supervisors, and vendors for smooth execution.
• Review and approve material samples, mock-ups, and shop drawings.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure design intent is executed correctly.

4. Client Interaction

• Understand client needs and translate them into functional and aesthetic design solutions.
• Participate in client meetings, design presentations, and project progress discussions.

5. Material & Vendor Management

• Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and decorative elements as per project specifications.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain samples, quotes, and product specifications.

6. Documentation

• Prepare BOQ related to design elements.
• Maintain proper documentation for drawings, revisions, and approvals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office.
• Excellent understanding of detailing, joinery, materials, and interior services.
• Minimum 2–5 years experience in commercial interior/fit-out projects.
• Good knowledge of building codes, industry standards, and site execution.
• Strong communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MSP, Revit, or 3D modeling tools (optional).
• Knowledge of corporate office design standards and modern workspace concepts.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹9,949.85 - ₹47,283.81 per month
