Job Description

We are seeking a creative and experienced Interior Designer with a strong background in Food & Beverage concepts including restaurants, lounges, cafés, sushi bars, steakhouses and nightlife venues. The ideal candidate understands guest flow, kitchen-bar integration, lighting design, acoustics, furniture layout, and brand identity creation for hospitality spaces.

You will be responsible for developing concept designs through to execution, coordinating with operations, chefs, contractors and suppliers to deliver outstanding venues that are operationally efficient and visually exceptional.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop concept designs, mood boards, and interior themes for F&B projects
• Create detailed 2D layouts and 3D renders for restaurants, lounges and bars
• Plan customer journey, seating zoning, bar & kitchen adjacency and circulation
• Select materials, finishes, lighting, FF&E and décor elements
• Ensure design compliance with food safety, HSE and local authority standards
• Work closely with operations, chefs, and consultants on functionality
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and joinery workshops
• Conduct site visits and supervise execution works
• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates and design presentation packages
• Align interior concept with brand identity and target market positioning

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design / Architecture or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in F&B interior projects (restaurants, lounges, cafés, bars)
• Strong portfolio of completed hospitality projects
• Proficiency in design software:
• AutoCAD
• SketchUp / 3Ds Max / Revit
• Photoshop / Illustrator
• Knowledge of kitchen & bar layout considerations and guest flow
• Strong creativity with practical operational understanding
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred Experience

• Turkish, Japanese, steakhouse, or lounge concepts
• Nightlife / DJ booth / bar experience
• Knowledge of MEP coordination for hospitality fit-outs
• UAE or GCC market experience
