Operations Manager – Interior Fit-Out & Design

Urgent hiring in ABU DHABI

We’re hiring an Operations Manager with strong experience in Interior Fit-Out / Design & Build to lead day-to-day operations, improve team productivity, and ensure fast,

high-quality project delivery.

Key Focus: Managing design & drafting production, coordinating with site teams,

enforcing deadlines, and implementing operational systems (KPIs / tracking).

Requirements: 10+ years Fit-Out experience (UAE preferred), strong leadership,

hands-on technical knowledge (shop drawings / site execution).

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in

Interior Fit-Out and Design to lead the company’s daily operations, improve delivery

speed, enhance productivity, and ensure high-quality output across design, drafting,

coordination, and site execution. This role controls project workflows from

concept/design to site handover.

Key Responsibilities

● Manage daily operations across design, drafting, coordination, procurement support,

and site execution.

● Control project timelines, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure on-time delivery.

● Develop and implement workflows, systems, KPI tracking, and weekly production

meetings.

● Lead and supervise Architects, Interior Designers, Draftsmen, Coordinators, and

Project/Site teams.

● Distribute tasks effectively, set targets, and drive productivity; identify delays and

take corrective actions.

● Oversee design outputs, shop drawings, material submittals and technical

submissions; ensure accuracy and compliance.

● Coordinate design-to-site workflow to avoid clashes, rework, and miscommunication.

● Conduct site visits (as needed) to monitor progress and resolve technical issues.

● Implement quality standards: checklists, templates, revision control, and internal

review process.

● Provide weekly reporting to the CEO covering project status, risks, productivity and

resource needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture / Interior Design / Civil Engineering (Architecture

preferred).

  • 10+ years experience in Interior Fit-Out / Design & Build operations. Minimum 3–5 years in an operations/management role within the Fit-Out industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Fit-Out execution, shop drawings, BOQ, consultant approvals, and

handover process.

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Skills & Competencies

  • Operational leadership and decision-making.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven.
  • Able to manage multiple projects under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Strong technical understanding of drawings and fit-out requirements.
  • Proficiency: AutoCAD (must), MS Office/Excel (must), Project tools (Asana/Monday/MSProject is a plus).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED20,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
