Interior Designer

AODK is an award-winning architecture firm in Cleveland, OH. The studio is seeking a highly energetic, self-motivated, and detailed-oriented Interior Designer/Interior Architect to join our team. We are a progressive design firm with exciting projects that include corporate, commercial, educational, restaurant, hospitality, residential and religious. We are looking for a talented designer with 5+ years of experience with a focus on contemporary design.

Qualifications:

Degree in Interior Design from an accredited program with 5+ years of experience.
Knowledge of the design process, including FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, color and materials
Graphic presentation skills
Flexibility to focus on multiple projects and project types in various stages of development
Ability to efficiently communicate design ideas and direction
Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skills
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop and SketchUp preferred

Responsibilities:

Collaborate on projects including programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, and design development
Participate in selection of finishes, furniture, art, and specifications
Provide project team coordination for the finish plans, specifications, and material selections required for construction
Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples
Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination
Implement all AutoCAD, Revit and rendering software standards
Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs
Manage Resource Library and manufacturer updates and appointments

This is a full-time, in-office position.

Salary is commensurate based on experience.
