Interior Designer

Job Summary
Join our boutique design team in McLean, VA! We are seeking part-time Interior Designer with exceptional sales & design skills.

The Interior Designer is responsible for residential design projects that involve a high-level of detail in custom products and interior design services for the home. Skills needed to support this role involve space planning, professional measuring, selection & calculation of product, workroom coordination, vendor management, and implementation of interior design principles to create our signature Kellogg look. The Interior Designer must be comfortable working independently on projects, yet respectfully collaborate with the retail team to mutually build the Kellogg brand. Developing strong customer relationships is essential.

We're looking for a go-getter who loves boutique retail, is comfortable working in a team environment, thrives in booking sales, and enjoys creating a welcoming environment for customers (and teammates alike). Join us!

Responsibilities

• Experience in home decorating and design, particularly in a retail shop preferred
• Excellent administrative, organizational, communication, and tech skills
• Ability to multitask and manage a variety of responsibilities
• Appreciates a team-oriented environment
• Bachelor's degree or similar preferred
• Reports to Store Manager

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
