Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer & Workshop Supervisor to join our CSD team. This hybrid role combines creative design responsibilities with hands on supervision of workshop and site activities. The successful candidate will produce detailed drawings, coordinate with internal teams and external specialists, supervise workshop operations, and support marketing through social media content.

Responsibilities and Duties:

As an Interior Designer.

• Creating designs and producing detailed drawings.
• Working closely with a team of other professionals within CSD such as the Admin., Estimators, Procurement Team, and all other outsource like engineers, contractors, and other specialists.
• Attending regular meetings and monitor work on-progress.
• Draft floor, walls, & ceiling plans according to the job order requirements.
• Coordinate with colleagues regarding the status and or receiving any new projects.
• Represent the company on social media platforms (WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) through audio and video content to support and collaborate with the Marketing Department.

As a supervisor:

• Supervise workshop activities and ensure that all executed work follows the approved designs.
• Check and verify materials required for the projects.
• Conduct site inspections when needed.
• Prepare cost lists for various projects.
• Coordinate with the office staff regarding all workshop-related work.
• Ensure quality standards are met in all workshop work.
• Coordinate with suppliers when require.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

• Proven experience in interior design, producing technical/shop drawings, and supervising workshop fabrication.

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD; Revit preferred) and familiarity with 3D/sketching/rendering tools (SketchUp or equivalent).

• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, joinery, and fabrication processes.

• Experience with site installation practices and ability to resolve technical issues on site.

• Basic understanding of cost estimating and material takeoffs.

• Experience coordinating with cross functional teams and external contractors/suppliers.

• Comfortable creating short-form audio/video content and representing the company on social media.

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills; attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Working Conditions:

• Combination of office, workshop, and on-site work.

• Flexible hours may be required to meet site or client needs.

Reporting Line:

• Reports to: Head of CSD / Project Manager
