Interior Designer

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. This role focuses on creating functional and visually appealing residential spaces, including kitchens, bathrooms, and full home remodels. The ideal candidate will be skilled in developing floor plans, space planning, and producing design concepts that align with client visions and project goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Create accurate floor plans and layout designs for residential remodel projects
• Develop conceptual designs and finish selections (cabinetry, countertops, flooring, fixtures, colors)
• Work closely with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget
• Produce 3D renderings and visual presentations to communicate design ideas
• Collaborate with contractors, remodelers, and project managers to ensure design feasibility
• Assist in material selection and specification
• Ensure designs meet building codes, functionality standards, and project scope
• Revise plans based on feedback and field conditions

Qualifications

• Experience in interior design, residential design, or related field
• Strong ability to draw floor plans and space layouts
• Proficiency in design software such as:
• SketchUp, Chief Architect, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar
• Knowledge of kitchen and bath design principles preferred
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and current design trends
• Excellent communication and client presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

• Experience with remodeling or construction environments
• Ability to create realistic renderings for client presentations
• Knowledge of cabinet layouts, lighting design, and space optimization
