Interior Designer

Role OverviewWe are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee interior and furniture projects from planning to execution. The ideal candidate will have strong AutoCAD skills and hands-on experience managing BOQs, layouts, procurement, and costing.

This role requires someone who can bridge design and execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Technical

• Prepare and revise AutoCAD drawings and layouts
• Interpret design concepts into practical execution plans
• Ensure all drawings are aligned with site realities and production capabilities

BOQ & Cost Management

• Create and manage Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
• Track material usage, costing, and budgets
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
• Maintain accurate cost sheets for each project

Project Execution

• Plan and monitor project timelines and milestones
• Coordinate between factory, vendors, and site teams
• Ensure smooth execution from production to installation
• Conduct site visits and resolve on-ground issues

Procurement & Orders

• Manage material orders and supplier coordination
• Track order status and ensure timely deliveries
• Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate pricing where needed

Reporting & Coordination

• Provide regular project updates and reports
• Flag delays, risks, or cost overruns early
• Maintain organized documentation for all project stages

Requirements

Must-Have

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
• Experience in interior, furniture, or construction projects
• Solid understanding of BOQs, costing, and materials
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred

• Experience working with furniture manufacturing or fit-outs
• Knowledge of materials, finishes, and production processes
• Familiarity with Excel for costing and tracking
