Interior Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles and have the ability to transform spaces into functional and aesthetically pleasing environments. This role requires proficiency in various design software and a keen eye for detail, along with the ability to manage projects from conception through completion.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for interior spaces.
• Develop design concepts and present them to clients using sketches, mood boards, and digital renderings.
• Utilize software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite to create detailed design plans and specifications.
• Prepare construction documents and contracts, ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Oversee project management tasks including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with contractors and vendors.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress, address challenges, and ensure quality control throughout the renovation or remodeling process.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies related to interior design, lighting design, and construction practices.
• Assist in lighting sales by providing expert recommendations based on client needs and preferences.

Experience

• Proven experience in interior design with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects.
• Proficiency in design software including SketchUp, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D, Adobe Photoshop, and Revit.
• Strong understanding of color theory, drafting techniques, lighting design principles, renovation processes, and construction practices.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
