Interior Designer/ Architect for a Fit-Out Company

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION :

Minimum Qualification: A bachelor’s degree/diploma in interior design, drawing, and computer-aided design (CAD).

Minimum Experience: 2-3 yrs. working experience in the retail interior designing background.

JOB PURPOSE:

To make interior spaces functional, safe, and beautiful by determining space requirements and selecting decorative items, such as colors, lighting, and materials, read blueprints and must be aware of building codes and inspection regulations

Job Description:

• To work closely with architects, structural engineers, mechanical engineers, and builders, to determine how interior spaces will function, look, and are furnished.
• Coordinating with mall managements for interior designs of the outlets and concept design.
• Coordinating for the design and implementation of lighting with main contractors & Lighting contractors.
• Coordinating for the signage contractors for the implementation of signage and holdings.
• Read blueprints and must be aware of building codes and inspection regulations.
• Inspecting and surveying buildings
• Carrying out research, to make sure that plans are technically feasible
• Producing rough sketches and a mood board - a collection of suitable images, colors and materials
• Developing detailed designs, often using computer-aided design (CAD) software or small-scale models
• Choosing the most appropriate materials for the design and budget.
• Advising Management on progress and providing with samples of paints and fabrics to be used before implementation.
